Dan Mannella

Camp Director

Camp Director Dan Mannella entered professional coaching in 1999 as a volunteer women's assistant at Villanova University while playing professionally with the South Jersey Barons of the USL D3 Pro League.  After Villanova it was 9 years as an assistant at La Salle University, helping guide LaSalle to their first ever A10 Championship and NCAA appearance.  In 2017 he was named head coach at Penn State Abington and served there for 5 years.

From 2009-2020 Dan was the Director of Coaching at Crusa/Fc Bucks and his first job was getting them applied for and accepted to the ECNL, the club was 1 of only 40 in the country at that time, 5 years later he would help the boys achieve ECNL status .  Over that time Mannella helped dozens of teams at FC Bucks earn numerous State, Regional, and ECNL Championships while also helping guide hundreds of players on to college and professional playing careers and scholarships.
For his outstanding work at LaSalle in 2011, Mannella earned the NSCAA Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach of the Year helping the program move to new heights. While at Villanova in 1999 he helped the Wildcats to a 14-8 record and an ECAC Championship.

Mannella started his professional playing career with the USL’s South Jersey Barons. He helped the team to a regular season National Championship in 1999 and finished third in assists in the USL D3 in the 2000 season. While playing for the Barons Mannella traveled to England and trained with now Premier League clubs Newcastle United, Burnley, and League 2 favorite Accrington Stanley.
Mannella played collegiate soccer at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee from 1997-1998 where he helped the Panthers win the 1997 Horizon League Championship and was named to the All-Conference Newcomer team.  In high school, he was all-state at Arthur P. Schalick and still holds several team and individual records while winning the schools only South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association Tournament in 1994.  He was inducted into Schalick's sports Hall of Fame in 2012.

Mannella received his Bachelor of Arts degree in communications in 2003 from Wisconsin-Milwaukee, he holds a USSF 'B', 'C', and 'D' license and NSCAA/United Soccer Coaches Premier, Advanced National and National, Director of Coaching and Special Topics course while Studying at Manchester United as well as special topics trips to Liverpool and Chelsea.
